Hotel Saint Simon - Bogota

Hotel Saint Simon offers great potential, but my experience had some ups and downs. The location stands out, right in the vibrant zona rosa with plenty of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. The friendly staff made a difference, especially Ivan and John, who went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome. My room was clean and cozy, although a bit small for two people. The absence of air conditioning was an issue. I struggled with the heat as the windows had to stay open due to the lack of cooling. It got noisy at night from surrounding clubs, tough to sleep. I was also frustrated by the lack of internet access in the room. I had to go to the lobby to connect, inconvenient.

the location of the hotel was central, so close to the museum of gold, one metro directly to city center where the main attractions are and all the restaurants, bars and clubs are. excellent service, although a few employees were absolutely unfriendly. got extremely spacious double room with an excellent view when arrived, greatly enjoyed that.

Overall it was fairly quiet with a double bed. The room had a mini-fridge-bar, a personal safe, and an iron plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures.

The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options, and we really appreciated the kindness of the staff. The location was perfect, great to explore many local attractions safely.

My kids wished the rooms had better airflow.

Our accommodation was set in a central location near Andino shopping mall, the center of the T-zone and pretty much most museums. Got modern, brand-new room with sofa, plenty of snacks and TV.

Breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were both new-fashioned, decent sized, complete with TV and clean fresh linen, for example. It was in a particularly good location close to cafes and bars...

There was a pretty small bed.

For night owls looking to have a good time

The area is buzzing with bars and restaurants a stone's throw away, perfect for me to unwind after a long day. One night, I stumbled upon a cozy little pub nearby, met some locals, and had an lovely conversation over a few drinks, really connected with the vibe of the place.

It wasn't cheap, but acceptable for the location.

I loved how the breakfast had unique Colombian dishes, and the room was modern and clean—such a comfortable stay! Only downside was the noisy street at night.

Wi-Fi was spotty. Appreciated the helpful 24-hour reception and decent laundry service.

Great breakfast in a bustling location

I really enjoyed my stay thanks to the delicious breakfast, the best I had in Colombia, and the cleanliness of the room. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and I felt safe wandering around even at night. The noise from the surrounding nightlife made it a bit hard to sleep, so perhaps earplugs would be a good idea for light sleepers.
